My art is personal, experimental, and exploratory. The pieces result from intuition and the subconscious that is tapped through exploration and play. I'm a mixed media artist. This page shows some of my book-related art.
Sharon Fingold - The Private Realm of .... Packaging and Altered Book, 2022. This project involves the “viewer” in the piece--they must engage by actively opening the box and undressing the book to reveal the private realm. They see themselves in the mirror on the cover before they open the book. It's a physical, emotional, sensual experience that brings each participant into the project and encourages them to make it their private realm too.
