This book was created in a virtual art retreat, May 23, 2020 by Ali Manning of Vintage Page Designs. It is a collaged coptic stitch book. Materials are from my collage stash.

The content of the book is based on the book Wildlife Crisis by Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, first published in 1970. Focusing on endangered birds around the world, I researched how 15 of the birds listed in the study are doing after 50 years.

Some of the birds have recovered or are recovering. Others are vulnerable, but have stable populations. Some remain or have become critically endangered. Others have been declared extinct.
