Our very own BABA members are offering live online classes for a fee. Click on the title of the class to find out more about how you can make unique books, for times and dates, and to register.
Online Zoom Class: Al Rodriguez’ Non-adhesive Binding (with permission) by Jamila Rufaro
Sunday, October 3, 12 noon to 3 pm on Zoom
REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS

3. ) Zoom link will be sent to those who have signed up and paid on Saturday evening.

Please have the following supplies ready
- Payment of $20 in advance
- Piercing tool & mat
- Scoring Board
- Bone folder
- Scissors
- Ruler
- Pencil
- 18 pieces 4 ¼ x 2 ¾ text weight paper (cut from 8 ½ x 11 cut into quarters)
- 1 piece of cardstock or mixed media paper 4 ½ x 11 for cover
- 2 strips of cardstock or mixed media paper cut to
x 5½
- 4¼ x 2 ¾ cardstock for piercing template
- 20 inches of waxed linen thread
- bookbinding needle (I prefer a curved needle but it is not necessary)

Live OnLine Class: Learn How to Make a Camera Lens Book
Monday, Oct. 4, 1:00pm to 2:30pm Pacific Time
This is a unique structure that looks like the shutter of a reflex camera lens. Multiple layers lead to a focal point at the end of the “tunnel”. Kit will show you the easy steps to make the book and you will be able to finish it in class. Within a few hours of your registering, Kit will send you the supply list and a Zoom link to join the class.
