We are a group of independent artists bound together by a passion for the book arts and
an all-volunteer organization run by the energy and generosity of our members. There is no fee for membership. All are welcome. We ask only that you volunteer in some capacity to help in the ongoing operation of the organization.
If you are not yet sure about joining BABA, you are welcome to attend one of our monthly meetings as our guest. To join the Bay Area Book Artists or to attend a meeting as a guest, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
We meet twice a month: The BABA Sunday Session is a hands-on workshop led by a BABA member on the first Sunday of the month from noon to 4 pm. A minimal fee (usually between $10-$25) covers instructor’s prep and materials and a contribution to BABA.
On the third Thursday of each month from 7:18 to 9 pm, we have a book share meeting. These meetings include announcements of various exhibits and classes, show-and-tell and planning upcoming events.
All meetings are held near the Cubberley Community Center on Middlefield Road in Palo Alto, CA.
We maintain an email list that is used by our members to announce our meetings and events, share information and ask questions about all manner of book art stuff.
If you would like to be included in the discussion, send an e-mail to email@example.com and say, "I am interested in the book arts and would like to join the BABA discussion group".
Be sure to respond to the confirmation link that will follow. You can unsubscribe from the discussion group by going to any Groups.io message and clicking unsubscribe.
